Joining Mid-Willamette Valley Chairmen, Griff Lindell, were two members + four guests and Mike Burkesmith, Area Chair.
The Lord was clearly present in the room. The discussions were deep, relevant and authentic. The morning content on Season of Life, When to End an internal Process, Product Life-cycle and ineffective employees equipped those attending with Best Business Practices and processes, analytical tools, several 2x2 matrices that provided useful insights and a case study that stimulated deep discussions about processes.
After Lunch, the Open Forum discussion topics were extremely beneficial to those who were part of this Board. One topic took longer than normal ...I would say close to 40 minutes to explore the clarifying questions even before the advice was offered; but the input from the peers was the extraordinary in its depth and business acumen and understanding of the internal cultural impact of the recommendations dealing with some complex manufacturing, customer expectations and customization vs. standardization issues.
Once again, I need to acknowledge that God was active in this Board with open and honest discussions - this is clearly God's moving.
